Is that the fathers in the faith turning in their graves I hear? We’re apologizing to the homosexual community for not accepting them with open arms? Now, why would I have a problem with that?

That someone came up with the idea to march in the mardi gra in the name of Christianity is staggering enough, that the church is in such a shocking state that there is a chance of raising the hoped for “100 reverends” is more than I can comprehend.

What next? Sorry to prostitutes? Sorry to drug pushers? Pedophiles?

The great tragedy is that by appearing to condone this lifestyle, the church leaves the very people they claim to care for, on a broad path that leads to hell. Is it not kinder to be hated, and tell the truth, in the hope that some may listen, than to pucker up to the sinner, and leave them burn? People, it’s an evil deception. The Word is clear:

1 Corinthians 6:9-10

Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolators, not adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.

Can it be any plainer than that? Is is kindness, is it truth, to deceive these people into thinking they have the blessing of God, while in this state of sin? It is the eternal destiny of people at stake here. Please, don’t make the popularity of the church matter more than the salvation of the lost!

Mark 6:12

And they went out, and preached that men should repent.

Let’s return to the gospel, which is the power of God unto salvation.
