It's fascinating, (though very sad in this case)when a work from several years ago proves to be accurate. The conditioning that has resulted in the current apathy didn't take place over night. I remember readinig a comment by Nikita Kruschev (I think it was Kruschev) about how communism could not be imposed on the west ovrnight. It would have to be instituted in small incremental steps until one morning everyone woke up and realized that they were communists. As for Obama, something is really eerie about the guy that goes beyond political rhetoric. He seems to be held in such high esteem by the clueless ones that he's off limits to scrutiny. It is also easy to read. Miss 12, on the strength of a few passages she overheard me reading to Mr BB, begged to be next in line to read the book. It took her 3 days to read it, and she describes it as "heavy reading", (but that is from someone who was previously reading the Billabong series... ;) ) However, she also described it as "very enlightening, and it made me mad!" I really can't recommend it highly enough. Even if you are not normally interested in politics, I think this book is written to be read easily. It could be scary... if you didn't believe in the sovereignty of God ;) I know that He watches over me (and you!)
